Luella was born December 4th, 1923 in Phillips, Nebraska.
She was the second of five children born to Hugo and Olga Heesch Reher.
April 28, 1947 she married Lloyd Peterson in Cleveland, Ohio.
They had one daughter, Cheryl.
Luella passed away June 12, 2009 in Twinsburg, Ohio.
It was almost a year ago that Luella was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
She is survived by her husband Lloyd, one daughter, Cheryl (Mrs Michael McDonald), and one granddaughter, Margaret Ann, two sisters, Erlene Still of Cherry Valley, CA, and Jackie Pollock of Grand Island, NE and one brother, Clayton Reher of Colorado Springs, CO, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Victor Reher.

I apologize for such late notice about this... I just found out last weekend about Luella's passing when I was talking to Erlene's daughter Marilyn.

My aunt Luella was a special lady, cheerful,smiling,and a wonderful laugh. I guess God needed a strong woman to put in charge in heaven. Her diagnosis was a complete surprise, but she put on the good fight. Her dtr, Cheryl told me "mom was still directing her care and issuing orders right to the end". We are all sorry to see her go.
